Supply Chain Operations Executive

Role

The Supply Chain Operations Executive is required to work closely with the commercial and operations team to manage and support the operational needs and fulfilment of customers’ orders in an efficient and effective manner. This role will also require close collaboration with suppliers, commercial teams and internal stakeholders to ensure smooth operations across Asia Pacific (Singapore, Malaysia, Vietnam, Thailand, Indonesia, Philippines, etc).

Key Responsibilities

• Responsible for inventory management, maintain and optimize inventory levels to avoid deficit and overstocking
• Carry out demand forecasting in driving automation, augmented with analytics. Supporting the customer service teams to improve their understanding of their customers
• Manage the order placement / management. To generate and manage purchase orders where applicable based on demand forecasts and inventory targets, taking into account cost, lead times, and supplier performance.
• Managing risk management by identifying potential supply chain disruptions and developing contingency plans to mitigate risks
• Ensure continuous improvement through analyzing and improving materials planning processes to enhance efficiency and reduce costs.
• Provide data analysis capability by utilizing data analysis tools and software to make data-driven decisions for materials planning.
• Be the focus point of communication, maintain clear and effective communication with cross-functional teams, and driving S&OP
