As a Retail
Store Manager for a footwear brand, you will be responsible for
overseeing and managing all aspects of the retail operations,
ensuring a seamless and exceptional customer experience. You will
play a key role in achieving sales targets, maintaining inventory
levels, and leading a team of sales associates. The ideal candidate
should have a strong background in retail management, excellent
leadership skills, and a passion for footwear and
fashion.
Responsibilities :
P&L owner : Meet sales goals by leading, managing, and
mentoring the retail team.
Store
Operations
Oversee day-to-day store operations
to ensure a smooth and efficient workflow.
Implement and enforce standard operating procedures to
optimize operational efficiency.
Manage and
maintain visual merchandising standards to showcase the brand's
products
effectively.
Sales and
Customer Service : Set
and achieve sales targets while maximizing
profitability.
Train and motivate sales
associates to provide exceptional customer service.
Monitor customer feedback and implement improvements to
enhance the overall shopping
experience.
Inventory
Management : Maintain
accurate and up-to-date inventory levels.
Implement inventory control measures to minimize stock
discrepancies and losses.
Coordinate with the
merchandising team to ensure a well-balanced and appealing product
assortment.
Team
Leadership : Recruit,
train, and develop a high-performing sales team.
Foster a positive and collaborative work
environment.
Conduct regular performance
evaluations and provide constructive feedback to team
members.
Sales
Analysis and Reporting :
Analyze sales performance and market trends to develop
strategies for increasing revenue.
Prepare and
present regular reports on sales, inventory, and other relevant
metrics to
management.
Loss
Prevention : Implement
and enforce security measures to prevent theft and minimize
losses.
Train staff on loss prevention
techniques and monitor
compliance.
Promotions
and Marketing :
Collaborate with the marketing team to implement
promotional activities and events.
Ensure
effective communication of promotions and marketing campaigns to
the sales
team.
Customer
Relationship Management :
Build and maintain strong relationships with customers to
encourage repeat business.
Address customer
complaints and concerns in a timely and professional
manner.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Business, Retail Management, or a
related field.
Proven experience in retail
management, preferably in the footwear or fashion
industry.
Strong leadership and interpersonal
skills.
Excellent communication and
organizational abilities.
Knowledge of retail
operations, inventory management, and sales techniques.
Proficient in using point-of-sale (POS) systems and other
retail software.
