INDIRECT CATEGORY SUPPLIER MANAGER, MATERIAL CATEGORY - MICRON SEMICONDUCTOR ASIA OPERATIONS PTE. LTD.

Roles & Responsibilities

As an Indirect Category Supplier Manager, you will be responsible for validating strategies with Global and Regional Category Managers / s and the respective internal partners and stakeholders. You will be conducting strategic sourcing initiatives, plan and execute negotiations using supplier and industry analysis, benchmark and cost management. Through management of the category strategy, you will also be building trusted partnerships with internal stakeholders, driving best-in-class, cost, supply and resilience.

Category Management & Strategic Sourcing

• Implement processes to monitor customer satisfaction with key suppliers.
• Recommend targets to maximize value such as high revenue, spend reduction, purchasing efficiency, customer services and supplier management.
• Analyze sourcing trends and make recommendations for assigned categories.
• Participate in supplier segmentation and strategic goal-setting.
• Develop category strategies for managed categories and validate strategies with Global and Regional Category Managers / s and internal partners.
