BUILDING ENGINEER

Preventive and Breakdown Maintenance

• Supervised the Preventive and Breakdown Maintenance team within the building department, ensuring efficient operations and adherence to safety standards.
• Conduct routine inspections of building equipment and facilities to ensure proper functionality
• Oversee maintenance works including plumbing and sanitary, painting, furniture repairs etc.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to building systems e.g. domestic water pumps, plumbing systems etc.
• Provide engineering expertise and support to technicians and contractors.
• Review and recommend system upgrades, retrofits, and energy-saving initiatives
• Review service reports and ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.
• Verify completed works before sign-off and ensure proper documentation
• Ensure building systems comply with statutory requirements (e.g., SCDF, PUB, NEA, MOM regulations
• Coordinate mandatory inspections Annual Water Tank Cleaning (License Plumber) for PUB certifications
