Partnering with the Regional Ocean Market team in performance management, strategic business discussions, through creating business value to the leaders by leveraging deep dive analysis with insights and influencing decision making through strong collaborations and recommendations, additionally providing financial leadership views to the business.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Business Partnering
- Act as a trusted advisor to the ocean market leadership team, providing guidance and support to optimize volume, revenue and yield.
- Support strategic initiatives and projets, including market expansion, pricing strategies, and cost optimization efforts.
- Serve as a funnel of information to the ocean market team through meaningful participation and collaboration with internal stakeholders.
Market Optimization
Identify and evaluate new business opportunities, assessing their financial viability and potential risks.Conduct market share research and reviews to understand competitor behaviours and market trends.Performance Management
Organise and conduct standard performance reviews to evaluate past and current performance, plan markt growth and profitability actions with the Market Team, and measure the outcomes of the same.Continuous Improvement
Identify and act on opportunities to improve on the execution of business, processes, collaboration etc.What we are looking for
Minimum of 10 years of experience in Finance business partnering roles, preferably with insights to the Maersk way of working.Ability to break down complex business challenges, identify key drivers, and provide actionable insights.Skilled in monitoring and evaluating business outcomes to drive continuous improvement and accountability.Strong capability to use data-driven storytelling to shape decisions and influence stakeholders at all levels.Proactive approach to identifying challenges, evaluating alternatives, and delivering effective solutions.Awareness of industry trends, customer needs, and market dynamics to support strategic decision-making.Expertise in developing clear data strategies, applying analytical frameworks, and presenting insights through compelling visualizations.Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams, building strong relationships to align objectives and deliver results.Strong communication, relationship-building, and stakeholder management skills.Able to simplify complex information, ensure clarity, and foster understanding across diverse audiences.Demonstrates resilience, adaptability, and effective prioritization to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously.Tell employers what skills you have
