What is the
opportunity? : In this role, the
focus is on delivering a seamless and consistent user experience
across all client platforms, including Windows, macOS, mobile
devices, and web browsers. The position requires deep technical
expertise and coordination to ensure that Omnissa Horizon services
are fully functional and optimized regardless of the endpoint.
Additionally, the role involves supporting both on-premises and
cloud-based infrastructure, bridging legacy environments with
modern, scalable cloud solutions. This dual-platform responsibility
ensures that customers can transition smoothly between deployment
models while maintaining high availability, performance, and
security. The ideal candidate will be adept at cross-platform
development, system integration, and troubleshooting in hybrid
environments, playing a key role in driving innovation and
operational excellence across the Horizon
ecosystem.
Responsibilities :
1. You will get a chance to come up with a long-term
VDI remote experience strategy to onboard myriad use cases from
customers and partners
2. You will be required
to design and support various use cases and redirection
technologies with an eye to how they can be supported across the
various OS platforms
3. You will need to
collaborate internally and externally with stakeholders to design
solutions for new technologies that customers wish to
deploy
4. You will help up-level and coach a
team of talented developers across remote experience technologies
and platforms
5. You will collaborate with
senior technical leaders across the company to derive crucial
decision and deliver timely
outcomes
Basic
qualifications : 1. BS / BA in
computer science
2. 10+ years industry
experience in software design development, and algorithm related
solutions
3. 10+ years programming experience in
object-oriented programming language such as C++, C, JavaScript,
Objective-C, Python
4. 3+ years' experience in
operating systems, multi-threaded programming
5.
5+ years experience with VDI solutions, both on premises and
cloud
Preferred
qualifications : 1. BS / BA in
experience working in web technologies
2.
Experience working on complex open-source
projects
3. Experience in collaborating with
multiple stakeholders
