About The Role
We are seeking a strategic and hands-on Group Sales Manager to lead AVTEL’s global sales efforts across three regions and ten markets. This role is ideal for a commercially driven leader who thrives in a fast-paced, multi-market environment and is passionate about building scalable sales strategies from the ground up.
As Group Sales Manager, you will be responsible for defining and executing AVTEL’s group sales strategy, managing the full sales cycle, building and leading a high-performing business development and sales team. This role requires strong leadership, analytical thinking, and the ability to build lasting relationships with clients and internal stakeholders across regions.
You will work closely with the executives, respective country Business Unit Managers, and the Group Bid Manager to expand our market presence, drive revenue growth, and ensure AVTEL is positioned as a trusted partner in the Integrated Electronic Security Solutions industry.
Key Responsibilities
Sales Strategy & Execution
- Develop and execute global sales plans aligned with P&L objectives.
- Identify and penetrate new markets and industries to drive growth. Drive new business growth and expand into new industries and markets.
- Align regional sales efforts under a unified global strategy.
- Lead and coach a geographically dispersed sales team to deliver results.
Sales Operations & Reporting
Maintain accurate CRM (NetSuite) data, forecasts, and pipeline visibility.Oversee sales reporting and performance metrics.Support sales budget preparation and quota allocation.Work with the Group Bid Manager to ensure competitive, high-impact tender submissions.Oversee live sales opportunities and will provide support and get involved when necessaryLead Business Strategy & Growth Plans
Build and maintain strong customer relationships to drive retention and recurring revenue.Lead strategic client presentations and support presales activities.Identify cross-selling opportunities across regions and verticals.Team Development & Enablement
Equip the sales team with tools, product knowledge, and pricing strategies.Provide ongoing training, performance feedback, and mentorship to support career growth.Foster a culture of accountability, ownership, and continuous improvement in line with our AVTEL values.Driving Strategy Through Group Collaboration
Develop impactful sales materials.Collaborate with regional leaders to deliver group-wide objectives.Contribute to pricing strategy and business planning to increase competitiveness.Collaborate closely with the Group Technical Director and AVTEL’s supply chain to access target markets, while strategically investing in supplier relationships as part of a comprehensive sales approach.Daily Rhythm
Guide and support the sales team to overcome market challenges.Engage regularly with clients, prospects, and internal stakeholders.Ensure CRM discipline and pipeline visibility.Drive alignment across countries and business units.Expected Outcomes

Proven experience leading regional or global sales teams, ideally across APAC or EMEA.Strong background in Integrated Electronic Security Solutions or similar industries.Expertise in sales strategy, forecasting, and CRM management (NetSuite preferred).Exceptional leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.Detail-oriented, resilient, and proactive driving results.Fluent in English; additional languages a plus.Tell employers what skills you have
