M&E Engineer

Job Description & Requirements

The MEP Engineer is responsible for all aspects of mechanical and electrical engineering activities, processes, and construction of projects.

• Monitor and report on the progress of work to project manager;
• Control the progress of RFA, RFI, Shop Drawings, Technical Submissions and Equipment / Material Procurement / Fabrication / Delivery Status for on-time completion.
• Coordinate with client’s representatives, consultants, and subcontractors on all technical matters, including submission of method statement, drawings, materials, samples and work progress;
• Control site progress & installation quality as per approved Shop Drawings, Technical Submissions and Equipment / Material Procurement / Fabrication / Delivery Schedule for on-time completion.
• Carry out inspection of MEP works prior to concreting or subsequent construction works;
• Assist in supervising and coordinating MEP services work closely with other departments;
• Assist for submission of evaluation of progress claim, variation work to M&E Manager
• Participate in all relevant project review meetings, site meetings, design meetings, and other project relevant meetings;
• Responsible for carrying out M&E technical meetings and resolving technical issues with record.
• Responsible for M&E drawing coordination and production of CSD and individual service drawings quality.
• Responsible for conducting QA / QC inspection, managing RE, RTO and responsible for clearing QA / QC inspections to meet with construction schedule.
• Provide and maintain all site inspection records & T&C records up to date.
• Ensure quality of MEP workmanship and compliance with safety and environmental requirements
