Pre-sales Support Engineer (Japanese Speaking)

We are representing a client in the industrial / machinery

sector to hire for a Pre-sales Support / Applications Engineer, who

is fluent in Japanese communication.

Responsibilities

Prepare technical and commercial proposals for customers

across SEA, Japan, Korea, and Taiwan

Work

closely with regional sales teams to understand client needs and

provide tailored technical solutions

Support

technical discussions with Japanese customers, coordinating between

clients, agents, and internal engineering teams

Assist with product specifications, compliance paperwork,

and application data

Provide pre-sales

technical clarifications and resolve issues

Coordinate with both local and global engineering teams

to ensure accurate and timely submissions

Travel to Japan (around 3-4 times yearly) for customer

visits, meetings, and technical

discussions

Requirements

Proficiency in Japanese to liaise with Japanese

clients

Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a

related field

1-5 years' experience in

application engineering, technical support, or pre-sales within

industrial / technical sectors

Exposure to

industrial machinery, equipment, or process systems is

preferred

Willingness to travel

internationally, especially to

Japan
