Job descriptionPromote and sell marine and land engines to shipyards, shipowners, and engineering firms. Manage client relationships and provide technical consultations Collaborate with internal engineering and service teams to ensure project success Travel within the region as required（Area : South East Asia, Oceania, India, Middle East.) Went for structured training at Japan HQ (6–12 months after joining, Timing needs to be adjusted, within one year from joining.) Support the Japanese HQ and coordinate with regional stakeholders Minimum Diploma or degree in Mechanical Engineering or Marine Engineering At least 3 years of experience working in shipyards, shipping companies or engineering companies in relation to engines or engine room equipment. Willing to go for business trips 1–2 times monthly, with each trip ranging from 2 days to 1 week. Japanese Speaking skill to liaise with Japanese Counterparts. (With both Japan HQ and Japanese clients)
Roles & Responsibilities
- AWS + Variable Bonus provided (Averagely 2 - 3 months)
- Hybrid work arrangement, work from home (2 times per week
- Received training at Japan for 6 months to 1 year
- Working location : Singapore
- Working Hour : 9 am to 5 30 pm (Monday to Friday)
Our client a Manufacturer of Diesel Engines for Marine Shipping and Engineering companies is looking for a (Japanese speaking) Senior Sales Engineer or Sales Engineer in Singapore.
In this role, you will be involved in marine and land engine sales, focusing on shipping and engineering companies across the Asia Pacific region. This role will offer a valuable opportunity to undergo technical and business training at our Japan HQ for 6 months to 1 year, gaining deep insight into our technology and sales approach.
