The Trade Asset Distribution team is responsible for the Global Trade Solutions (GTS) Originate and Distribute strategy to be applied across existing and new transactions. The team covers all GTS products, including Structured Trade Finance (Receivables and Supply Chain Finance), Guarantees, Core Trade (FI and Corporate), Commodity Trade Finance and Asset-Backed Lending. The team also interacts with several internal and external investors, including banks, non‑banking financial institutions (asset managers, insurance companies), multilateral institutions and family offices.

Senior Manager, Trade Asset Distribution – GTS Asia

The Senior Manager will work as part of an existing Trade Asset Distribution team and report to the Head of the Deal Management team. The role will be responsible for supporting and executing the distribution / syndication of complex & innovative / bespoke deals across the GTS product space, with a specific focus on Structured Trade Finance transactions such as inventory financing, leasing and non‑bank financial institution trade‑related financing.

In This Role, You Will

• Support transactors and frontline sales managers in structuring, implementing and executing GTS distribution for Asia offices, including liaising with internal stakeholders on legal, accounting, tax, etc.
• Negotiate with investors on distribution documentation and explain operational flow / requirements to ensure smooth deal execution.
• Monitor utilisation of program distribution and insurance activities to ensure all relevant criteria / conditions are not breached and escalating to internal / external stakeholders when needed.
• Coordinate with group offices on monthly reporting, MI submissions, finance queries and perform data analytics for management consumption.
• Act as first point of contact and provide advisory to group offices on operational issues, matters relating to distribution, monitoring and assessment of outsourcing arrangements.
• Lending support and assistance to other regional and global Trade Asset Distribution teams.
• Provide business requirements to technology functions and operations teams to build systems / infrastructure to support distribution activities.
• Participate in the implementation and oversight of GTS policy and governance frameworks, procedures, practices and standards to ensure quality, effective risk management and regulatory compliance.
