Job Duties and Responsibilities :
This is a six month contract role to support and perform related duties as assigned by the General Counsel :
- Provide day-to-day legal support to business operations and internal teams.
- Assist in the identification, management and mitigation of legal risks.
- Draft, review and manage contracts, templates and internal legal documents.
- Assist in the delivery of in-house training on legal and compliance topics.
- Assist in the organisation and filing of legal contracts and documentation and overall legal operations.
- Support the management of AEM's IP portfolio.
- Contribute to enhancement of the legal department's resources including development of policies, procedures, templates and checklists (where applicable)
- Assist in the handling of data privacy related issues.
- Assist and manage compliance with SGX listing rules and regulations.
- Support contract lifecycle management and ensure legal consistency across agreements.
- Manage and coordinate with external counsel as and when required.
- Collaborate with internal teams to support and strengthen internal controls.
Required Qualifications and Skills :
Minimum Bachelor's Degree in Law (LL.B) from a recognised university.Strong administrative, organizational, interpersonal and communication (both written and oral) skills.Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a dynamic, fast-paced international environment while consistently meeting critical deadlines.Demonstrated ability to work proactively and independently while effectively managing multiple concurrent priorities.Tell employers what skills you have
