Roles & Responsibilities

The Singapore Immunology Network (SIgN) is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Research Officer to join our dynamic team. This position is ideal for individuals looking to gain valuable experience in biomedical research, particularly in immunology and laboratory operations.

At SIgN, you will work alongside leading immunologists in a supportive, multidisciplinary environment. You will gain valuable exposure to advanced research techniques and be part of a mission to push the boundaries of scientific knowledge in immunology. You will have access to seminars, workshops and internal training relevant to research.

As a Research Officer, you will support day-to-day lab functions and contribute technically to ongoing research projects. Your work will help advance fundamental discoveries that may lead to new treatments and scientific insights into the immune system.

Key Responsibilities :

• Perform routine laboratory duties including :
• Animal handling and mouse work.
• Genotyping.
• Tissue processing and imaging.
• Sample curation and documentation.
• Ensure timely procurement and inventory management of lab supplies.
• Assist in conducting and updating risk assessments.
• Maintain high standards of lab safety and organisation.
• Support researchers with experimental setups and general lab workflows.
