Royal Ocean Marine is looking for a dedicated Account Assistant / Associate to join our client dynamic team. In this role, you will play a vital part in ensuring financial transactions are recorded accurately and contribute to the overall success of the accounting department. This position is ideal for individuals who are detail-oriented and eager to grow their careers in the maritime industry.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the preparation and processing of financial documents such as invoices, payment vouchers, and receipts.
- Handle AP accounts function
- Liaise with other department colleagues and suppliers (where necessary)
- Assist in month end closing
- Liaise with auditors on audit matter and audit schedules
- Perform other ad hoc duties as assigned
Requirements
Possess a diploma or lower in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.Prior experience in an accounting role is preferred but not mandatory.Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices.Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.Strong communication and interpersonal skills.Able to work well under pressure and meet deadlines.Able to handle high volume transactionsGood interpersonal skill and meticulousFast learnerBenefits
