Reporting to CFO Singtel Singapore and matrix reporting into VP, Group Procurement, this role is responsible for leading and managing tactical sourcings (>

K) for all local Singtel Singapore business units, and is accountable for local sourcing planning, strategic vision and mission relating to it with suppliers’ management and engagements. The role requires close cooperation and synergy with Group Procurement, namely :

• Group Strategic Category Management which manages group category and strategic sourcing;
• Group COE which manages digital center of excellence and system enablers; and
• Group Share Service which manages procurement operations and processing.

Across more than suppliers for Singtel Singapore, you need to be competent to manage and support the deliverables with Group Procurement for strategic sourcing, and lead all local procurement tactical and tail-end sourcing. This role requires understanding of Networks, Information Technology, Indirect and Enterprise sourcing & practices to develop competent purchasing capabilities; taking charge to consolidate sourcings across entire local Singtel BUs.

This role is a commercially vital role as it provides the leadership in setting to realise the mid to long terms goals of both Singtel Singapore and that consistent of Group Procurement, including driving savings, adopting procurement best practices, inculcating capabilities development and managing strict adherence to procurement policies and governance.

The candidate should also possess a proven track record of strong people management & leadership skills to build a highly engaged team (YVS) and satisfactory internal customer experience (CSAT).
