Key Responsibilities
Lead international tax planning and
cross-border structuring for manufacturing, trading, and holding
entities across Singapore, China, Taiwan, Europe, and
North America.
Develop
investment holding structures and tax processes, including transfer
pricing, profit allocation, CFC rules, and BEPS 2.0
compliance.
Manage corporate income tax and
indirect tax (VAT / GST) filings and compliance in multiple
jurisdictions, working with local advisors and auditors.
Provide tax advice to manufacturing, supply chain,
finance, and legal teams on orders, pricing, and fund
transfers.
Track tax policy changes in key
markets, assess risks, and recommend strategies.
Establish global tax governance frameworks, including
documentation systems, risk matrices, and internal
controls.
Build and lead regional / group tax
teams, train members, and maintain knowledge-sharing
practices.
Manage tax audits, transfer pricing
reviews, and APA applications, including documentation and
regulator
communication.
Requirements
At least 8 years' experience in
taxation, accounting, or audit, with 3+ years in tax advisory for
multinational manufacturing groups or Big 4 firms.
Strong knowledge of Singapore, China, and
Taiwan tax systems (e.g., IRAS, GST, regional
incentives) and experience in tax compliance / planning in Europe and
North America.
Proven expertise in transfer
pricing, supply chain restructuring, offshore structuring, and
cross-border funding.
Practical experience in
tax audits, TP reporting, master / local file preparation, and
economic substance reviews.
Familiarity with
international tax treaties and initiatives such as BEPS and Pillar
Two.
ERP experience (e.g., Oracle) is an
advantage.
CPA or relevant transfer pricing
certifications preferred.
Fluent in Mandarin,
with ability to liaise effectively with Chinese counterparts,
customers, and HQ.
