Senior Consultant (Java / J2EE, Microservices, Cloud) - Islandwide, SG

Roles & Responsibilities

Responsibilities :

• Lead end-to-end design, development, and delivery of enterprise applications using Java / J2EE frameworks (Spring Boot, Hibernate, JPA).
• Architect and implement scalable microservices and RESTful APIs, ensuring high availability, security, and compliance.
• Partner with business stakeholders and solution architects to translate requirements into robust technical solutions.
• Provide consulting expertise on application modernization, migration to cloud, and DevOps enablement.
• Perform code reviews, performance tuning, and design validations to ensure adherence to industry best practices.
• Oversee integration with databases (Oracle, MySQL, PostgreSQL), messaging systems (Kafka, JMS, RabbitMQ), and third-party APIs.
• Drive CI / CD pipeline implementation with Git, Maven / Gradle, Jenkins, and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Troubleshoot complex production issues, provide RCA, and implement long-term fixes.
• Mentor junior developers, set coding standards, and establish governance across project teams.
