Roles & Responsibilities

Job Description

• Minimum Daily contact with ship owners and / or ship operators and / or trading houses and / or miners and / or end users within the dry cargo market to provide insight, market intelligence and information.
• Maintain up to date, detailed record of ship positions, cargo enquiries and market information a
• Maintain, nurture, and support existing lines of business by providing best in class service consistent with the company’s values and standards.
• Negotiate the main terms of shipping contracts and ensure their performance in close coordination with the operations department.
• Maintain and build close relationship with the other departments within the company, and other desks to provide yourself and your clients with the best information and market understanding.
• Initiate, create, and build new lines of business by identifying emerging market participants.
• Prepare market report capturing the essence of the day’s activities and offering opinion of the market going forward.
