Job descriptionVolunteer management and engagement. Sourcing for volunteer partners to value add to hostel programmes Support case management, include preparing, and attending all necessary case-related appointments / meetings Develop / maintain good working relationship with stakeholders, including parents and schools Apply restorative practices including planning and facilitating a restorative circle and principles of trauma-informed care Able to organize and upkeep documents Able to keep to administrative timelines Possess good engagement and facilitation skills; Possess good knowledge and experiences with social work interventions, social policies and community engagement; Possess strong communication and writing skills. Resilience (Able to overcome adversity and emerge stronger); Integrity (Guiding decisions with moral principles); Serving (Willing to go the extra mile for others); Excellence (Always expecting the best of self); A good Team player (Able to value add ideas and ready to respect group decisions). Roles & Responsibilities
Social Work Associate will be working with the youths staying in an institutional facility, which focus on community rehabilitation. List of responsibilities, but not limited to :
Programme management
- Conduct needs assessment to develop suitable programmes, developing risk assessment and manage risks involved in programmes
- Plan for, lead and facilitate programmes
- Implement appropriate assessment tools to develop and evaluate group work outcomes
- Develop and plan group processes and specialised intervention strategies
- Facilitate, evaluate and review therapeutic group work sessions
