Global Head – Corporate Communications

Job Summary

Drive the development and execution of TVS Motor’s external communications strategy, aligning storytelling and thought leadership with corporate objectives. Lead global PR initiatives across traditional and digital media, ensuring brand consistency. Act as a strategic advisor to TVS Motor’s senior leadership, lead consistent communication between multiple teams to ensure communications and business objectives are aligned and oversee comprehensive media relations’ strategy with core agency and consultant partners.

Key Tasks and Responsibilities

• Conceptualizing and executing the narrative and creating a great surround sound about the company appropriate for the external environment; Create story and thought leadership platforms that support TVS Motor’s corporate business objectives
• Develop global PR strategy and execution plans including both traditional and social media outlets
• Manage a broad range of both internal and external communication strategies, community relations, events, brand management and corporate advertising
• Develop and review key corporate communications (including press releases, corporate presentations, conference call scripts, etc.) to support corporate image and strategic messaging objectives
• Lead a team that develops creative PR opportunities, writes and distributes press releases and drafts and maintains key message documents for customers and media facing audiences
• Develop media opportunities for senior executives and ensure they are prepared to represent the company
• Act as a strategic advisor to TVS Motor’s senior leadership on communication strategy to support business goals as well as strategic narrative.
• Lead consistent communication between marketing, sales and business units to ensure communications and business objectives are aligned
• Oversee comprehensive media relations’ strategy with core agency and consultant partners
• Manage outside agency mix and budgets to align with organizational goals and financial objectives
• Develop a world class communications team through a combination of teaching, mentoring and targeting hiring
