What The Role Is
This is a tech‑adjacent role where you will be involved in ops‑IT‑data integration work to support processing via Household Means Eligibility System (HOMES), a central system that supports means‑test of government schemes. What You Will Be Working On
You will implement enhancements to the existing system and processes by bridging business requirements and tapping on data sources and new technologies to improve the accuracy, efficiency and experience for government schemes and citizens. In addition, you are part of the team to drive the solutioning and onboarding of new Schemes to tap on HOMES, so that they can make use of HOMES’ services and data effectively and efficiently to meet their business needs. This includes reviewing and advising appropriate setup parameters, development of training materials and conduct of training for users for HOMES Portal, project management and providing ongoing support to schemes on their queries. What We Are Looking For
At least 2-3 years of relevant working experience in the Public Service (Preferred) Possess prior experience working on projects that saw the integration of policy / business‑IT‑operations (Preferred) Able to communicate effectively with policy and operations teams in various agencies as well as technical personnel in vendor companies Open to learn and apply office productivity and automation tools such as Power Query, Power BI and UiPath Possess good analytical and solutioning skills Attention to detail Ability to plan and prioritise tasks A team player who demonstrates good interpersonal skills and has high initiative Motivated and persevering, resourceful and able to work independently and see through projects to completion Ability to multi‑task, handle stress and handle a fast work pace Key Competencies Required
