The Advanced Remanufacturing and Technology Centre (ARTC) is
an industry-led Centre by the Agency for Science, Technology and
Research (A
University (NTU). Based on a contemporary business model of
public-private partnership, the Centre transforms remanufacturing
and manufacturing research into industry ready solutions for
cross-sectoral industry members by bringing together best-in-class
global companies and R&D minds in
Singapore.
Currently, the ARTC works with over
80 industry members to develop advanced remanufacturing and
manufacturing capabilities. The members are comprised of global
MNCs, leading equipment and software providers as well as
SMEs.
We are seeking an innovative and
technically skilled engineer to join our team, specializing in
adaptive machining. is a key technology for generative and
regenerative applications at the heart of ARTC?s remanufacturing
and manufacturing research. We are looking for people with the
passion and drive to join us as part of the Remanufacturing Process
Technology (RPT) Group.
The Remanufacturing
Process Technology Group also consists of research teams in Laser
Directed Energy Deposition, Electron Beam and Arc Joining, Adaptive
machining and Intelligent Process Remanufacturing for which
individuals may also explore.
JOB
DESCRIPTION
We are seeking a
hands-on CNC Engineer with expertise in CNC machining and CAM
programming. The successful candidate will play a key role in
developing toolpaths, setting up machines, and optimizing processes
on the shop floor. While not essential, additional skills in CAD
(preferably NX) and programming in Python, VB, or C# are considered
valuable assets to support workflow improvements and
automation.
Responsibilities :optimize, and validate CNC programs for milling, turning, and
multi-axis machining using CAM software (preferably NX
CAM).
machines, including tooling, fixturing, offsets, and
verification.

high-quality output.
research teams to ensure manufacturability of CAD
models.
improvements in cycle times, tooling strategies, and process
reliability.
programs, setup instructions, and process changes.
CAD software (preferably NX) to review models, create geometry for
machining, or make design adjustments.
scripts, macros, or tools in Python, VB, or C# to streamline CAM
workflows.
compatibility with CNC controls.
adaptive machining techniques, including automated decision-making
systems, dynamic process adjustments, toolpath optimization,
scanning and data gathering technologies, and machine to machine
communication.
