SCOPE
We are
seeking an inspiring and culturally attuned Creative
and Event Director to lead the creative curation and
execution of a year-round calendar of events and entertainment
across our hotel, the iconic Capitol Theatre, The Atelier and
dining venues. This role blends strategic storytelling, artistic
collaboration, and guest experience designed to enchant our
guests.
As Creative and Event Director, you'll
orchestrate experiences that span from intimate dinners to
theatrical premieres to creative talks-turning our spaces into
destinations in their own right.
You'll play a
pivotal role in driving top-line revenuewhile ensuring profitable
operationsand maintaining the highest standards of quality and
service. Your direct involvement in day-to-day operations will
ensure seamless execution and an exceptional guest
experience.
OVERALL
OBJECTIVES
Develop and
curate a yearly program and event calendar that engage diverse
audiences, utilizing a network of global presenters, venues,
festivals, entertainment and event agents to enhance programming
quality and execute high-profile events
Oversee the end-to-end production process for events,
ensuring seamless execution while collaborating with technical
teams, vendors, and creative partners to deliver exceptional
experiences for our clients
Build and maintain
strong relationship with target audiences to expand our network,
identify new business opportunities, and implement strategies that
enhance event offerings and drive revenue
Develop and implement strategic marketing plans that
align with organizational goals, while also identifying and
executing quick-fix solutions to ensure continued
progress
Work collaboratively with Food &
Beverage and operations team to optimize staffing strategies and
ensure all potential revenue streams are fully leveraged during
events
REQUIREMENTS
8+ years experience in creative direction, cultural
programming, or hospitality / events leadership
Demonstrated success curating multifaceted programs that
blend art, entertainment, and lifestyle
Strong
network of creatives, performers, and collaborators across
industries
Exceptional project management,
ideation, and storytelling skills
Deep
understanding of experiential branding and guest experience
innovation
Comfortable presenting ideas to
stakeholders and building consensus across
departments
