As an HR Business Partner in our retail organization, you are the internal strategic partner responsible for delivering total satisfaction to our employees and managers through people strategy and solutions. You'll offer strategic leadership to the highest professional and ethical standards across talent management, performance, and employee relations. You will translate business needs into HR initiatives, acting as a change agent and ambassador to ensure every employee feels supported and engaged. Your goal is to exceed expectations for a positive, productive employee experience. Responsibilities Partner with Business Head and Field Team to translate business goals into effective HR strategies for talent, performance, and development. Drive a high-performance culture by managing and continuously improving the performance review cycle and goal-setting process across all outlets. Act as the primary consultant for complex employee relations issues, coaching managers and ensuring consistent application of company policy and MOM law. Oversee the end-to-end recruitment strategy to attract, hire, and onboard high-quality talent. Ensure all HR policies and practices adhere strictly to the organization policy and other MOM regulatory requirements. Commit to regular travel across all retail locations to proactively engage with store teams, observe operations, and gather grassroots feedback essential for informed HR strategy. Any other ad hoc duties assigned. Key requirements : Minimum 5-7 years of progressive HR experience, including at least 2-3 years as an HRBP for a multi-site organization. Able to build strong relationships, coach managers, and influence senior leaders and frontline employees across diverse locations. Able to act as a trusted and assertive advisor to senior leaders, specifically demonstrating success in effectively managing and influencing highly challenging or dissenting stakeholders to ensure cohesive HR and business outcomes. Able to work independently and as a team member. Strong commercial understanding of retail operations and how HR directly impacts key business and sales metrics. Demonstrated superior influencing and consultation skills, with a proven ability to manage complex, sensitive employee relations and difficult stakeholders at all levels of the organization. Willingness and ability to travel regularly to retail outlets across Singapore to conduct on-the-ground engagement, gain operational insight, and build rapport with the frontline teams. Passionate, friendly and cheerful disposition. Proactive and responsible. Prior HR experience supporting a Retail chain or organization in Singapore is highly preferred. Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Powerpoint. Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field is required. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
