Roles & Responsibilities
On behalf of a global QSR client, we are searching for a dynamic and results-oriented Supply Chain Manager to be based in SIngapore. This role will lead initiatives that drive the company’s growth and long-term sustainability. This role plays a pivotal part in contributing to the efficiency and effectiveness of an organization's supply chain, including strategic planning, vendor management, inventory control, logistics, and cost optimization.
JOB DESCRIPTION
- Manage and control activities of the centralized warehouse to ensure proper storage and handling of all materials / products.
- Plan and control 3rd party logistics service quality and efficiencies. Improve on existing network and distribution activities.
- Implement a lean framework and manage warehouse capacity for effective utilization of space and capacity.
- Lead all operational activities and develop effective ordering and stocking strategies to meet customer expectations for product availability.
- Conducts supply chain analyses to optimize distribution operation and footprint for optimal efficiency.
- Deploys and standardized management processes and drives alignment for the organization.
- Manages appropriate KPIs and develops improvement plans (when required) to meet targets
- Assist with the development of new service solutions & projects.
- Developing and maintaining appropriate relationships with group and external service providers, developing business relationships and reviewing these regularly, to provide an appropriate distribution network for the business.
- Leads negotiation and accreditation with local suppliers in securing a cost-effective supply.
Criteria : To be considered for the role, you must have the following :
At least 5 years of purchasing experience in QSR / fast food / F&B, restaurants of any type, food (b2c or b2b) or hospitality industry.Proven experience in supply forecasting, procurement, vendor and supplier management, and distribution planning.Proficient in Microsoft Office Applications, ERP / Netsuite etcProficient in cross departmental and regional collaborationBachelor's degree in business or supply chain management, Logistics, Business Administration, or related field.Highly agile, resourceful with good interpersonal & communication skills.Strong negotiation and problem-solving skills.Good influencing skill with effective English language verbal and written skills.A self-starter and able to work in a fast-paced environment and with tight deadlines. (This is a role for you to build your own team and manage the function.)This is a Singapore based role with local scope and not a regional one.This role has one staff under him / her but this role will need to build some functions from scratch and is a very hands on role.Tell employers what skills you have
