Product Director

Roles & Responsibilities

Our client is a government agency which supports ICT delivery services. This role is a Principal Product Manager role to provide strategic leadership across the product portfolio. This senior role will shape the agency's product vision, drive digital transformation, and lead multiple product teams in delivering innovative solutions.

Responsibilities :

• Define agency's overall product strategy and digital transformation roadmap.
• Lead product teams and mentor Lead Product Manager (s).
• Align product initiatives with whole-of-government strategic objectives
• Develop and articulate a compelling product vision and strategy aligned with the agency’s overall goals. Lead the product lead (s) to achieve this vision.
• Oversee multiple product lines and their interconnections.
• Ensure timely delivery of high-quality products.
• Conduct thorough market analysis and customer research to identify needs, trends, and opportunities.
• Utilize insights to inform product development and positioning.
• Work closely with cross-department or cross-agency teams to ensure alignment and effective communication throughout the product development process.
• Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) or OKRs to measure product success and inform decision-making.
• Use data-driven insights to make informed adjustments to the product strategy.
• Drive adoption of emerging technologies and foster a culture of continuous improvement and innovation.
• Stay abreast of industry trends and emerging technologies to drive product evolution.
• Lead product teams in development of digital roadmap and introduction of appropriate digital solutions to partner with cross functional business teams, WOG and industry partners to achieve greater business outcomes
• Drive in organisation wide Digital, Design and Data capabilities / competency development, digital innovation and continuous improvement to build a high performing team
• Drive the annual submission of the Digital Government Blueprint KPIs and support in the preparation of Digitalisation Plan
