Roles & Responsibilities
We are looking for an ambitious, results-driven Sales Manager to help us expand our business. In this role, you will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, building relationships with key stakeholders and expanding our client base. You will drive revenue growth, ensure long-term success and foster strategic partnerships. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in business development, strong communication skills and a deep understanding of market trends. You will be required to present sales pitches by creating compelling, persuasive proposals and presentations.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to :
1. Identify and target new business opportunities within both existing and new markets.
2. Develop, design and implement strategic business development plans to meet revenue goals, expand the company’s customer base and establish a strong presence in the targeted industries.
3. Build and maintain strong relationships with prospective clients, partners and key industry players.
4. Lead the end-to-end sales process, including prospecting, lead generation, meetings, proposals creation and contract negotiations.
5. Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify emerging markets and opportunities for business expansion.
6. Manage and oversee the post-sales process to ensure smooth transitions and strong client satisfaction.
7. Analyze sales data to measure performance and identify areas for improvement.
8. Drive, organize, prepare and deliver formal submissions to prospective customers, including but not limited to :
9. Compile and maintain records for management tracking and provide periodic update (weekly / monthly / quarterly) on the status and progress of sales and account coverage plans and activities.
10. Perform sales administrative tasks as required.
Requirements
1. A Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business, Sales and Marketing or a related field.
2. At least 6 to 8 years of sales experience across both private and public sectors, preferably in IT services or solutions.
3. Strong understanding of software products, applications, development and cloud services.
4. Ability to manage multiple clients simultaneously and work well under pressure.
5. Self-driven, results-oriented and proactive.
6. Confident individual with excellent presentation and interpersonal skills.
7. Proven ability to drive sales processes from initial planning to contract closure.
8. Strong business acumen with expertise in the relevant sector / industry.
9. Demonstrated ability to communicate, present and influence credibly and effectively at all levels of the organization.
10. Familiarity and demonstrated access to private sector industries.
11. Prior experience in the government sector and familiarity with the government procurement process is a plus.
