Job descriptionPostgraduate qualification in Communication Disorders or equivalent. Fully accredited with the local professional board for Allied Health (AHPC). Over 3 years of hands-on experience in a community rehabilitation or long-term care setting. Proficient in common office tools and confident in leading initiatives that enhance care quality.
Roles & Responsibilities
- Deliver one-on-one and group therapy sessions tailored to general or complex speech and swallowing challenges.
- Offer guidance and mentorship to junior therapists while supporting service audits and performance enhancement.
- Support department planning, including staff deployment, coverage, and rehabilitation service refinement.
- Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams to implement care protocols and track outcome improvements.
- Contribute to staff growth initiatives such as clinical training, drills, competency reviews, and case discussions.
