Roles & Responsibilities
Job description :
1. Keep an accurate understanding and correct application of commodity contracts and contractual obligations;
2. Plan and execute the shipment as per the commodity contract involving;
3. Accurate interpretation of contract terms and execution of payments / receivables including Letter of credit, DP / DA etc as per the contract;
4. Assist the planning of cargo including the vessel nomination, shipping advice, insurance declaration, discharge port agent appointment, load / discharge operation;
5. Management of the shipping documents and payment including ensuring accurate invoices / shipping documents issued by supplies;
6. Issue provisional / preliminary final / final invoices timely in accordance to the contractual terms;
7. Settlement of AR / AP including the Laytime, freight differential etc.;
8. Liaise with different departments including commercial, risk control, finance, shipping etc., to resolve problems.
Job requirements :
1. No experience required;
2. Undergraduate students in the second or third year of University or Institutes of Higher Learning;
3. Major in International trade, maritime, economics, mathematics, statistics ;
4. Quick learner;
5. Good communication skill;
6. Discipline;
7. Working attitude;
8. Group Consciousness.
On-board time : Immediately in 2025
Intern Type : Full-time, Office Hours, Monday to Friday (Except PH)
Duration : Min. 2.5 months – Max. 6 months
