Roles & Responsibilities
OBJECTIVES (GOALS)
Your main responsibility cover setting up machines to start a production cycle, controlling and adjusting machine setting (eg. Speed, feed rate, etc.), feeding raw material or parts to semi-automated machines to ensure daily output to meet customer demands.
DUTIES
- Control and run the machine for required quantity to meet daily output.
- Prepare and set up machines for production – clean, checking etc.
- Inspect parts with precision and measuring tools for quality control.
- Test operation of machines periodically
- Fix issues that might occur during the shift and maintain activity logs.
- Check output to spot any machine-related mistakes or flaws.
- Keep records of approved and defective units or final products.
- Keep up with safety requirements and maintain a safe work setting at all times.
- Reporting safety hazards within the work environment.
- Perform routine maintenance tasks on machines as required.
REQUIREMENT
Min. N Level, high school diploma or equivalent.Proven experience as a machine operator with min. 2 years of working experience in the manufacturing industry or relevant field.Able to do repetitive tasks; detail-oriented; understanding of industry and safety standards.Understanding of production proceduresPossess basic knowledge of PC, general maintenance, and repair tasksComfortable to work OT.On-Job training provided.REPORTING
This position reports directly to Section Leader / Production Manager.
