Job descriptionDevelop and maintain sophisticated financial models to analyze deal-level economics, sensitivity scenarios, and return metrics (e.g., IRR, equity multiple, cash-on-cash) Draft clear and compelling investment memos and presentations for internal investment committees and senior leadership, outlining the strategic rationale, risks, and recommendations. Conduct macro and micro-level market research, competitive benchmarking, and due diligence to inform underwriting assumptions and investment strategy Liaise with brokers, partners, legal counsel, and other external advisors to facilitate deal execution Provide on-demand analytical support to senior management, including portfolio reviews, hold / sell analysis, and performance tracking Review potential investment opportunities proposed by the broader business and work with Group Strategy & Investments team on potential Mergers & Acquisitions opportunities Target candidate will have a minimum of 2 years’ experience working in real estate investment, real estate funds management, real estate private equity, or similar role Bachelor’s Degree from top-tier university with an outstanding university academic record Balancing competing priorities Adhering to important deadlines whilst maintaining accurate high-quality outputs The ability to work semi-autonomously, delivering well considered output with minimal continuous review and refinement by management Managing senior internal and external stakeholders whose opinions may vary, to find consensus and deliver the agreed upon outcome Clearly and effectively communicating deliverables with the capability to engage in thoughtful robust debate as required Ability to work and collaborate within a close-knit team structure Personal resilience and calm professional demeanour Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills Highly proficient in financial modelling with knowledge of valuation and corporate finance Solid understanding of accounting concepts and financial statements Strong commercial acumen and ability to engage in strategic thinking Clear effective communicator capable of engaging with stakeholders from across the organisation Desire to continually strive for professional excellence and ongoing development Strong work ethic with the ability to work autonomously and deliver outcomes to agreed timelines Enthusiastic and energetic attitude toward both work and personal life
ESR is seeking a driven and analytical Analyst with minimum 2 years of investment experience to join the Group Investment Team. The candidate will independently evaluate real estate investment opportunities, conduct in-depth financial modelling, and prepare high-quality investment papers as well as ad-hoc analysis to support strategic decision making by ESR senior management.
The candidate will also work with key stakeholders across the broader business, including the Group Strategy & Investments team on Mergers & Acquisitions opportunities and the in-country investment teams on key projects.
