We are seeking to hire an Associate to support the Investment Group Office in investment strategy, performance reporting and cross-functional projects.

The individual should be highly motivated, possess sound judgement and have demonstrated excellence in prior endeavours.

Responsibilities Investment Group Office Support the investment group through proactive management and continual enhancement of investment workflows and quarterly portfolio reporting processes Prepare regular and ad hoc reporting of investment performance, projections and ongoing developments for Temasek and other stakeholders (ministries, agencies, board directors etc) Prepare regular updates to senior stakeholders (IC, Board, shareholders) with regards to investment group activities, investment strategy and other key portfolio developments Portfolio construction & Investment Strategy Perform industry research and analysis to support refinement of investment strategy or development of new investment strategies Support the calibration of portfolio allocation across different investment pillars (nature, technology, and carbon markets), modalities (equity, projects, funds), geographies and project type based on dynamic view of investment pipeline, projected returns and direct climate impact Perform portfolio simulations and analysis of potential impact of market changes (interest rates, carbon pricing etc) and other idiosyncratic developments on portfolio returns / climate impact generated Cross-functional projects Work closely with other corporate departments on cross-functional projects Requirements 1-3 years of experience in in-house strategy, consulting or accounting advisory services Bachelor’s degree in business, finance and / or engineering or a related field Analytical problem-solver who takes initiative and ownership of tasks Strong work ethic and demonstrated ability to work and thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment Strong research and due diligence capabilities High level of professionalism and personal integrity Advantageous to have a strong interest in the area of sustainability and topics relating to carbon markets, nature-based solutions and technology-based solutions for decarbonisation By clicking 'Submit Application', you hereby agree and consent to GenZero’s collection, use, and disclosure of the information you provide in accordance with these terms, GenZero’s Privacy Policy ( https : / / genzero.co / privacy-policy ), and the relevant applicable law.
