Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented

Procurement Executive

to support our manufacturing operations by managing sourcing, vendor relations, purchase orders, and logistics. You will ensure timely and cost-effective procurement of materials and services while maintaining compliance with company policies.

Key ResponsibilitiesProcurement & Vendor Management

Identify and source required materials and services by collaborating with internal teams and approved vendors, following Engineering drawings and Bills of Materials (BOM).

Prepare and issue Request for Quotation (RFQ), review quotations, and evaluate vendor proposals for best value and compliance.

Generate and manage Purchase Orders (PO) using Infor VISUAL ERP, ensuring accuracy and timely issuance to vendors.

Develop and maintain positive working relationships with vendors

to ensure reliability, cost-effectiveness, and quality performance.

Coordinate transport and freight arrangements for purchased materials, ensuring efficient and timely deliveries.

Track and follow up with vendors, transporters, and freight forwarders on delivery schedules, updating Production team accordingly.

Verify delivery documentation against POs and follow up on discrepancies, incomplete deliveries, or damaged goods.

Support departmental KPIs and assist with ad-hoc procurement tasks.

Documentation & Compliance

Ensure receipt and proper filing of all required certificates and documentation (e.g., Material Certificates, Certificates of Conformance).

Maintain accurate procurement and logistics records, including uploading and compiling data for reporting purposes.

Required Qualifications and Experience

Higher Nitec in Mechanical Engineering / Diploma / Professional Diploma in Business Management, Supply Chain Management, Procurement, or other relevant related studies with 1-2 years of procurement experience in manufacturing industry.

Ability to read and interpret technical drawings is highly preferred.

Familiarity with Incoterms and Harmonized System (HS) Codes is an advantage.

Bilingual in English and Mandarin to communicate effectively Mandarin speaking suppliers.

Demonstrates working proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word.
