Director, Partner and Product Compliance
MetaComp is a Singapore-licensed Major Payment Institution (MPI) regulated by the Monetary Authority of Singapore (MAS), providing Cross-Border Money Transfer and Digital Payment Token (DPT) services. MetaComp bridges traditional finance with the digital asset ecosystem through secure, compliant, and innovative payment infrastructure.
About the Role
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Director, Partner and Product Compliance to join our Compliance function. This role ensures that our partnerships and product offerings comply with regulatory standards, internal policies, and industry best practices.
The ideal candidate will :
Ensure smooth and compliant partner onboarding and lifecycle management.
Oversee end-to-end partner due diligence, including risk assessments and ongoing monitoring.
Guide compliance requirements across the full product lifecycle.
Collaborate cross-functionally to maintain a robust and scalable compliance framework supporting both product innovation and partnership growth.
Key Responsibilities
(1) Partner Compliance
Lead the compliance engagement with banks, payment partners, and other financial institutions during onboarding and throughout the relationship.
Coordinate completion and review of internal due diligence questionnaires and risk assessments.
Maintain comprehensive records of due diligence outcomes and periodic reviews.
Define and align on partner risk appetite, ensuring operating models meet compliance standards.
Serve as the primary compliance point of contact for partner-related issues, audits, or requests.
(2) Product Compliance
Support product launches and enhancements by scoping applicable regulatory and compliance requirements.
Advise on compliance considerations during product development and rollout phases.
Work cross-functionally (Compliance, Legal, Product, Risk, Engineering, and Operations) to identify, assess, and mitigate compliance risks across product lines.
Recommend policy, control, or documentation improvements to strengthen product compliance governance.
Stay informed of regulatory changes and emerging industry standards impacting digital assets and payments.
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Law, Business Administration, Finance, or a related field.
10+ years of experience in compliance within fintech, payments, or financial services.
Proven ability to manage complex partner relationships and compliance projects across multiple jurisdictions.
Strong leadership and communication skills, able to influence across teams and senior stakeholders.
Analytical and detail-oriented, with strong judgment on risk-based decision-making.
Preferred Qualifications
Professional certifications such as CAMS or ICA.
Experience in both partner due diligence and product compliance advisory.
Familiarity or experience with digital asset, blockchain, or cross-border payment ecosystems is preferred.
