Roles & Responsibilities
We are looking to welcome a new collague for the position of Chef de Partie at JAG.
The broadstrokes of the role's scope are as follows :
- Learn to receive and eventually manage the receiving of produce correctly at the time of daily deliveries.
- Learn to store and eventually manage the efficient storage of produce following a first in first out system to ensure optimum quality utilisation.
- Learn and eventually command the preparatory steps toward getting the designated station within the kitchen, ready for service.
- Learn and eventually execcute the dishes within the designated station independantly.
- Work toward gaining greater in-depth understanding of ingredients and how they should best be handled.
- Develop your palate through constant tasting and eventually work toward creating dishes for the team to try and have the opportunity to launch them onto the menu.
