Legal Counsel (Mining & Infrastructure)

Location : Singapore (with potential travel to West Africa and UAE)

Role Overview

We are presenting our client in search fora mid-level legal counsel who is ready to take on significant responsibility and grow into the company’s future Head of Legal / Senior Legal Counsel role.

This role is ideal for a self-motivated lawyer with a strong foundation in contract drafting, mining / infrastructure projects, and regulatory compliance, who is ready to work independently and handle end-to-end legal matters.

You will draft and negotiate key contracts, advise management, and manage disputes, while developing the strategic and leadership skills to eventually run the legal function entirely on your own.

Key Responsibilities

Legal Advisory & Support

• Provide practical legal advice to management and operational teams on mining, shipping, infrastructure, and logistics projects.
• Research and advise on legal risks and regulatory obligations across Singapore, West Africa (OHADA jurisdictions), and Laos.
• Support ESG compliance and risk management initiatives.
