Job description
The Senior Executive / Assistant Manager plays a key role in supporting and driving the organisation’s digital transformation agenda to enhance productivity, service excellence, data protection, cybersecurity, and knowledge sharing across the organisation. Reporting to the Head of Corporate Services Department (CSD), the role requires close collaboration with stakeholders from service centres and other departments, as well as supporting projects and initiatives assigned by the CEO or Head, CSD.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate with service centres to implement digital transformation initiatives, including systems (SaaS and Daas), website and microsites enhancement, and other digital projects as assigned.
- Gather and analyse requirements from Centres, provide technical expertise, and support the evaluation of new technologies, platforms, or applications to meet organisational needs.
- Support the Data Protection Officer (DPO) in Data Protection and Cybersecurity initiatives.
- Manage relationships with consultants and vendors throughout the project implementation cycle.
- Oversee application integration with back-end services, monitor performance, and recommend improvements for service delivery.
- Work with appointed IT vendors to deliver operational support, procure equipment, and manage vendor performance for digital transformation projects.
- Ensure projects are implemented in line with approved plans, priorities, and budgets.
- Support IT Operations in maintaining the Society’s IT asset inventory and vendor database (covering applications, systems, hardware, and software).
- Assist in tracking and maintaining software warranties, licenses, and renewals across the organisation.
Requirements
Diploma / Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent.Minimum 5 years of relevant working experience.Proven track record in project management, vendor and stakeholder management, and leading small- to mid-scale projects.Knowledge of Microsoft Power Platform, cybersecurity and data protection (advantageous).Experience with cloud hosting, Microsoft Windows environments, and application support.Strong analytical skills and ability to work independently with minimal supervision.Good understanding of IT security and best practices.Strong interpersonal, communication, and time management skills.Willingness to travel between Centres to support operational needs.Self-motivated, adaptable, and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.Tell employers what skills you have
