Job Responsibilities

Provide overall technical solutions to customers which are not limited to products only but also the inclusion of tooling, and part design analysis i.e – CAE, and injection molding. Conduct market research on the latest technology trends related to the company's current or future targeted applications. Plan and work together with the commercial team to create a mid-term plan as well as Long long-term plan business strategy on target application. Provide solution and technical support to the commercial team in meeting short-term budget targets. Plan and evaluate analysis methods about actual application requirements and needs to provide actual data to customers for application development. Obtain actual application requirements and translate these technical requirements into actual material properties for R&D to formulate new material. Provide support in negotiating newly formulated material technical properties limitation with customers on specific application needs & requirements. Provide technical marketing activities in developing new markets and / or customers. Provide technical training to all business partners such as Traders and / or Distributors on Engineering Polymer, technical training will be also extended to customers as and when requested. Organized trade show to enhance product brand marketing. Conducting molding trials with customers. Any other ad-hoc duties as assigned.

Requirements

Diploma or Bachelor's degree and above in Polymer Science, Chemistry, or related field. Candidates with a Chemical background will also be considered. Strong knowledge of polymers and plastics. Knowledge with minimum 3 years experience in plastics injection molding and experience of chemical analysis for plastics or chemicals. Frequent travelling will be required for this position (ASEAN and India).
