About the Role
We are conducting a confidential search for a Business Development Director to lead strategic growth across Southeast Asia in the mission‑critical power and infrastructure space. This senior leadership role is ideal for a commercially driven individual with deep experience in power systems, data center infrastructure, and public sector engagement.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive business expansion into government, utilities, and industrial sectors.
- Manage and transition key C-suite client relationships to ensure long‑term continuity.
- Build and maintain a high‑value sales pipeline, including Uninterrupted Power Supplies and generator solutions.
- Lead and mentor a business development team, fostering internal succession.
- Shape commercial strategy through market insights and competitive analysis.
- Collaborate with technical teams to deliver tailored energy and power solutions.
- Represent the company at industry events and client engagements across the region.
- Track and report on KPIs including revenue growth, pipeline health, and market penetration.
Ideal Candidate Profile
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, or related field (MBA preferred)10+ years in senior business development roles within power systems, data centers, energy, or infrastructure sectorsStrong knowledge of generator systems and UPS technologiesProven success in expanding into new verticals and managing C-level relationshipsExcellent strategic thinking, negotiation, and deal‑closing capabilitiesStrong leadership and cross‑functional collaboration skillsWillingness to travel across Southeast AsiaHigh integrity and a growth‑oriented mindsetNote : This is a confidential search.
