Senior Legal Counsel (Banking / Project Finance) - BEATHCHAPMAN (PTE. LTD.)

Roles & Responsibilities

The Role :

We are working with a leading conglomerate to hire a specialist banking lawyer. Reporting to the Group General Counsel, this role will support complex financing transactions, including project finance, syndicated and bilateral loans, and group-level banking activities. The position offers the opportunity to work closely with senior leadership in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment. This is an excellent opportunity for inhouse banking lawyers or private practice banking lawyers to pivot into.

Requirements :

• Qualified lawyer with 10–15 years’ post-qualification experience (Singapore or England & Wales), gained in both private practice and in-house roles
• Strong banking & finance transaction experience and / or project finance, with cross-border exposure
• Proven expertise in syndicated loans, bilateral loans, and financing documentation
• Resilient, resourceful, and able to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced setting
• Excellent communicator and stakeholder manager with a commercial mindset
