Job Overview :
We are looking for an organized, proactive, and customer-oriented Store Supervisor to oversee daily operations at our convenience stall. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing store activities, ensuring stock availability, providing excellent customer service, and leading a small team of staff. As the Store Supervisor, you will play a key role in maintaining store standards, handling cash transactions, and ensuring that customers have a smooth shopping experience.
Key Responsibilities :
Daily Store Operations :
Oversee the daily operations of the convenience stall to ensure smooth and efficient service.
Open and close the store as per schedule, ensuring all security protocols are followed.
Team Supervision :
Supervise, train, and motivate a small team of staff to ensure high levels of productivity and customer service.
Schedule shifts and monitor staff performance, providing constructive feedback where necessary.
Customer Service :
Ensure that customers receive exceptional service and resolve any complaints or issues promptly.
Greet customers, assist with product selections, and provide information about promotions or new products.
Inventory and Stock Management :
Monitor stock levels and place orders to replenish products as needed.
Ensure that the store shelves are well-stocked, organized, and attractive to customers.
Conduct regular stock checks and maintain proper inventory records.
Cash Handling and Sales Transactions :
Oversee the cash register, ensuring accurate transactions and balancing cash drawers at the end of the day.
Handle cash, credit card payments, and process refunds or exchanges as needed.
Store Cleanliness and Safety :
Maintain a clean and organized store environment, adhering to health and safety standards.
Ensure all store equipment is well-maintained and working properly.
Reporting :
Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly sales reports.
Report any incidents, customer feedback, or issues to the Store Manager
Requirements : Education :
Minimum of O-Level or equivalent. Higher qualifications in Retail or Business Management is a plus. Experience :
At least 1-2 years of experience in a retail or customer service environment, with supervisory experience preferred.
Skills and Competencies :
Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
Excellent communication skills in English (ability to speak other languages is a plus).
Ability to work under pressure and manage time effectively.
Basic knowledge of cash handling and POS systems.
Familiarity with inventory management and retail operations is a plus.
