Service Engineer (chiller / ACMV / HVAC)

Roles & Responsibilities

Job Description

• Participate in standby duty rotations and respond promptly to emergency chiller breakdown calls during assigned shifts.
• Lead commissioning processes for new chiller systems, ensuring installations are completed to specification and function correctly.
• Strictly adhere to all safety protocols while conducting fieldwork; conduct safety briefings to clarify responsibilities for all involved parties.
• Deliver excellent customer service by responding to client concerns, offering operational guidance, and promoting best maintenance practices.
• Travel regularly to client sites and perform duties in varying environmental conditions, including outdoor and field-based settings.
• Diagnose and resolve mechanical, electrical, and control system malfunctions to restore optimal chiller performance.
• Perform scheduled maintenance and inspections to uphold efficiency, minimize downtime, and extend equipment lifespan.
• Encourage a team-based problem-solving approach with contractors to enhance workflow and project outcomes.
• Educate clients on routine maintenance procedures and efficient system operation to improve longevity and performance.
