The Role :
You will be the manager of the Business Office staffs, together ensuring a smooth patient journey from admissions to discharge, as well as managing administrative and operational duties of the department.
Key Accountabilities :
- Managing and meeting KPI on admissions, discharge, claims, bills, etc.
- Prepare monthly reports on accuracy of bills
- Reviewing of discounts / write off reports
- Manage and guide team of Business Office staff which includes rostering, recruitment, appraisal and other manpower related duties
- Conduct departmental meetings and provide advisory to operational issues
- Review and advise team on the next course of action to meet KPI
- Liaise with other departments or section to obtain and provide feedback that will facilitate operational efficiency and effectiveness in their respective sections
- Review and prepares annual departmental budgeting report and cost management
- Perform any other tasks assigned by Superiors
Professional / Educational Qualifications :
Degree in Healthcare / Business / Communication / Finance related disciplineComputer literacy with advanced proficiency in Microsoft OfficeGreat communication skills (speaking and writing) and good negotiation skillsBilingual – English preferably Mandarin or other dialects / languages to communicate with non-English speaking patients from the regionExperience in leading and supervising a teamMin 8 years of professional experience in customer fronting rolesAbility to analyse figures and problem areas with proposal to meet target and propose for process improvementSkills and Knowledge :
Mature team leader with ability to multi-task, patient and tolerant in handling difficult customersEffectively bilingual with prior experience in training and guiding staff would be an added advantage.Working Hours :
Mon - Fri, 8.30am - 6.00pmPH, Sat & Sun : OFF (may require to come back work if necessary)To remain contactable during after office hours for emergency purpose
