Marine Engineer (Superintendent) - D22 Jurong, Jurong Island, Tuas, SG

Roles & Responsibilities

• Good knowledge of engines especially slow speed engines which is a must; experience with medium, high speed diesel and gas engine would be an advantage.
• Possesses good leadership attributes, able to lead a team of technicians to achieve given task.
• Independently to perform inspection, installation (incl. engine alignment), repair, upgrading, troubleshooting and overhaul of diesel engines and auxiliary equipment.
• Ability to communicate with customer / ship owner reps / Class / sub-contractor including arrangement of work / entry permit through email and phone.
• Be prepared to travel extensively.
• Able to prepare a hand-written work done, with data recorded as per format templates and service report with photos, upon completion of job.
