Responsibilities :

• Conceptualise designs and design carbide press tools for high precision metal stamped parts, deep draw parts, and forming parts.
• Study part drawings and prepare layouts according to product requirements independently.
• Complete tool designs according to specifications with minimal supervision.
• Ensure smooth transition from product design and development to production.
• Resolve technical design issues promptly and recommend improvements on new and existing tools.
• Follow up with toolmakers during tooling assembly and testing.
• Provide guidance to draughtswomen for modifications on simple tooling designs.
• Perform any other duties as assigned by superior or management.
