Job descriptionNITEC, Higher NITEC, a diploma, or a comparable credential. Any prior expertise in purchasing, administration, or a similar industry is advantageous. Strong teamwork and communication abilities. Fundamental familiarity with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and Outlook). Well-organized, meticulous, and open to learning. Knowledge of fundamental procurement procedures. Interest in technical, offshore, or maritime fields.
Roles & Responsibilities
- Help in sourcing and acquiring quotes from vendors.
- Create and send out purchase orders.
- Check in with vendors regarding lead times, deliveries, and order status.
- Maintain track of price lists, supplier relationships, and purchase information.
- Work together with internal departments to comprehend the needs for purchases.
- Verify deliveries and address any inconsistencies with suppliers.
- Assistance in keeping an eye on inventory levels and restocking requirements.
