Avetics Global is a drone solutions company based in Singapore and Malaysia serving Southeast-Asia. We provide end-to-end drone services with a key focus in the industrial space using our customised drones.

We take on our own R&D projects to come up with solutions that uniquely solves problems by combining mechanical, systems, robotics, and software expertise.

We are now looking for a talented Product Design Engineer to join our young and creative team.

Job Scope

• Design & Development : Create mechanical components and systems using CAD tools (SolidWorks, Fusion 360, etc.) and perform structural, thermal, and CFD simulation
• Cross-Team Collaboration : Work with engineering and project teams to ensure effective integration of components and alignment with project goals
• Prototyping : Rapidly prototype using 3D printing, CNC machining, and various fabrication methods
• Testing & Validation : Conduct mechanical, flight, and environmental tests to verify design performance and reliability
• Issue Resolution : Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical issues encountered during testing or production
• Documentation : Maintain detailed records of designs, test results, and standard operating procedures
• Project Leadership : Lead projects from concept to delivery, managing timelines, budgets, and resources
• Client Interaction : Interface with clients to gather requirements, provide updates, and ensure successful delivery
• Research & Innovation : Stay up-to-date on the latest in drone tech, materials, and manufacturing processes to drive innovation
• Ad Hoc Responsibilities : Support the team with additional tasks and duties as required.
