Responsibilities
Conduct regular vulnerability scans
using Rapid7 InsightVM and other tools to identify potential
weaknesses in our systems and networks.
Perform in-depth analysis of scan results to prioritize
remediation efforts based on severity and business
impact.
Collaborate with IT teams to ensure
timely patching and remediation of identified
vulnerabilities.
Develop and maintain
policies, procedures, and guidelines related to vulnerability
management processes.
Stay up-to-date with
emerging threats and industry best practices in vulnerability
management.
Assist in the development and
implementation of incident response plans and
procedures.
Provide technical guidance and
support to junior security staff
members.
Requirements
Bachelor Degree in Computer Science, Information
Technology, or a related field.
Proven
experience in cybersecurity, preferably within a financial
institution.
Strong knowledge of networking
concepts (TCP / IP, DNS, DHCP, etc.) and system administration
skills.
Experience with vulnerability scanning
tools such as Rapid 7, Nessus, Qualys, or OpenVAS.
Excellent problem-solving and communication
skills.
Ability to work independently and
collaboratively in a fast-paced
environment.
