It’s a strategic growth mandate — to help a global Agri‑AI venture land its first SEA pilot clients, unlock investor traction, and co‑create a scalable business in the world’s most innovation-friendly markets.
You’ll act as a trusted regional growth partner , leveraging your networks, credibility, and market understanding to secure commercial pilots and investor connections.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead business development and market activation across Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand, and the rest of SEA (With Some market exploration support for NZ / AUS) .
- Identify and close commercial pilot projects with commercial farms, greenhouses, and AgriTech companies.
- Build strong relationships with government bodies, sustainability accelerators, and corporate innovation programs .
- Engage with SEA venture capital firms, family offices, and AgriTech investors to help drive Seed / Pre-Series A traction.
- Represent INNOFarms.AI at key AgriTech and Sustainability events (e.g., AgriFoodTech Expo Asia, Grow Asia, Enterprise SG programs).
- Collaborate with the Founder & CEO to refine go‑to‑market strategy, pricing models, and funding outreach narratives.
Ideal Profile
8–20 years of experience in Business Development, Partnerships, or Venture Building .Background in AgriTech / FoodTech / ClimateTech / SaaS / IoT / DeepTech startups or corporates.Strong network in SEA innovation ecosystems — Accelerators, agribusiness players, and sustainability initiatives.Entrepreneurial and self‑driven — thrives in high‑autonomy, performance‑linked setups.Excellent communication and presentation skills; able to represent the company in front of high‑level partners and investors.Engagement Model & Rewards
Type : Interim Advisory Engagement (Success Fee-Based | No Fixed Retainer)
Structure :
Pilot Activation Bonus : USD 3,000 per closed commercial pilot (>USD 50K contract value)
Funding Success Fee : USD 20,000 per soft commitment leading to final closing funding USD ≥ 500KStrategic Partnership Bonus : USD 1,000 per institutional MoU (Gov, Accelerator, or Corporate Innovation Program)Full‑Time Conversion Option : Upon achieving ≥ 2 pilot closures or ≥ USD 1M pipeline, role transitions to Vice President, SEA – Full‑Time with a competitive package and ESOP opportunity.Why Join Now?
