Job Description

Provide IT infrastructure and data management support to research groups within the school and for external collaborations.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Provide infrastructure (hardware / software), end user and data management support to research groups within the school and for external collaborations.
• Configuration of environments and release of applications to Windows / IIS / MSSQL / LAMP environments.
• Support of research computing environments including provisioning and import / export of data.
• Perform Database Administration tasks.
• Troubleshooting of issues reported in deployed applications and other research environments with developers.
• Maintaining data standards, including adherence to internal processes, the Personal Data Protection Act, Human Biomedical Research Act and other legislation as required.
• Participate in Disaster Recovery team in the event of serious IT issue (some work beyond office hours may be required if activated).
• Any other projects based on current requirements.
